John believes that a casual and encouraging, but challenging, environment is the most productive for his piano students. He doesn’t follow prescribed teaching methods or styles but intuitively teaches for the needs of each student.

John accepts students of all levels for classical piano, ear training and theory.  He is able to meet the needs of:

1. ✴ Students preparing for auditions to music schools and competitions.
   

2. ✴ The casual pianist looking to further their enjoyment.
   

3. ✴ A new student simply wanting to get started playing the piano.
   

4. ✴ Advanced musicians looking to further their own studies.

Rate is $30 for half an hour, $60 for an hour. Other lessons lengths are available and special financial situations are considered.
